About Jonathan Chalstrey

Jonathan was born in London, England in 1962 and educated at the City of London School and Bristol University where he gained a bachelor's joint honours degree in History and Economic and Social History.

He worked for twenty years in marketing and sales roles, first in academic publishing and later in learning and development. At the age of forty-two he retrained as a trainer and facilitator and for the next twenty years specialised in designing and delivering leadership and team development programmes for corporates and SMEs. He also coached individual managers at all stages in their careers. Today, he has a gardening business and sings and plays in a rock covers band.

Jonathan wrote his first novel during the Covid 19 pandemic and his second shortly afterwards. These remain unpublished. In 2025, he published his third novel ‘Heart’ through Strong Ned Publishing. He is currently writing the sequel to ‘Heart.’ He lives with his wife in Manchester, England.
